How a Zoobie works!

Zoobies are stuffed animals, pillows and blankets.  They're a great pet as a stuffed animal but can turn into a very comfortable pillow.  Best of all, if you open the zipper under the tail you'll find a nice big soft fleece blanket inside.

They're great for the car or to travel with.  They'll velcro onto the handle of your luggage for easy plane boarding.  It makes no difference if you're an adult or a child traveling, the fleece blanket is much nicer than the one the airline lets you use.  Best of all, it's yours so you know it clean!  Best of all it easily unzips for laundering.

When you're using the blanket, go ahead and use the animals head as a pillow.  It's surprisingly confortable.

They're great to keep in the car, give to your preschooler for 'nap time' or just give as a terrific pet for your little one, spouse or significant other.

The average turn around time for shipping your personalized Zoobie is 2 days, if I have the animal you want in stock.  5 business days if I have to order your pet because it's out of stock. Usually I have what you want on hand but sometimes I have a run on one particular animal so the cupboard is bare.  I don't like having jobs sitting around so I really do try my best to get the order done in 24 hours.

For customers who live in the San Francisco East Bay  (Pleasanton, San Ramon, Danville area) and want to pick up their Zoobie, I usually have it ready in 1 hour unless I'm working on a huge job.

I've posted some of the zoobies on this blog.  For the entire collection you can go to zoobiepets.com and browse the Zoo and Safari Collections.  It's worth a trip to the site just to hear the music.

Most of the Zoobies are $33 (+ tax & shipping).  The few larger ones from the limited edition are $34 (Baboon, Gorilla, Koala, Orangutan).

If you're interested in purchasing a zoobie with your first name embroidered on the tummy, please shoot me an email at pawsembroidery@yahoo.com.  I'll do my best to get it to you as fast as humanly possible.

Thanks for coming by and checking out my blog.

Dueling Dragons

These dragons are on a simple quilted red lightweight jacket and were an absolute labor of love.  They took over 18 hours of editing and sewing to get from start to finish.  They're a little over 90,000 stitches but really pop out at you when you see them in person.

Originally the green/yellow dragon was in shades of red.  Because the jacket was red that just wouldn't do.  Changing the colors was a tedious job because I found errors in the digitizing as I went along.  Being a perfectionist, I just couldn't ignore those flaws so I delved in and fixed them.

Because I've done the initial work on this design on my own garment, to sew it out for you would cost $100.  $10 set up fee and $90 to sew it out.  It takes almost 4 hours to sew out with all the thread/color changes.

If your interested in this design please contact me (Patricia) at pawsembroidery@yahoo.com

Zoobies, Zoobies and more Zoobies

I started stocking Zoobies in June of this year.  They're absolutely adorable.  Great for children, girlfriends, boyfriends and adults.  I stocked them in my booth at the Fair and they were a hit!

Basically they're a stuffed animal that opens into a pillow then into a blanket.  It's a nice large blanket too.  If you have it in the blanket mode you can use the head for a pillow.  The best part is, the blanket zips off for washing.  You can also wash the animal itself but it's best to do it in a lingerie bag to protect it.

I'll embroider your name on its tummy for free.  That way if the little beast wanders away you can easily verify it's yours.   This is especially great if the Zoobie belongs to a child in pre school.

The Zoobies are priced at $33 and $34.  That includes your embroidered name.

The $33  Zoobies are:  Monkey, Hippo, Rhino, Lion, Elephant, Croc, Giraffe, Polar Bear, Panda, Tortoise, & Tiger.

$34 Zoobies are:  Orangutan, Gorilla, Baboon & Koala (she comes with a baby).

I ship anywhere in the US but if you live in the San Francisco East Bay Area, you are certainly welcome to order one, then come by and pick it up.  That saves shipping fees.

If you'd like to read more about these adorable little animals you can see a video on how they work on their website at zoobiepets.com.  You can also order directly from them but you won't get a name embroidered on it and they cost just a tad more than I charge.

If you're interested in purchasing a Zoobie from PAW's Embroidery as a gift or for yourself, email me (Patricia) at pawsembroidery@yahoo.com.  I accept payments through Paypal or in person if you'd prefer to pick up your Zoobie.

Thank you!

I'd like to thank all those who stopped by the PAW's Embroidery booth and said hi this year at the Alameda County Fair.  I enjoyed meeting and talking with you.  Your interaction helped make the long hours of each day bearable.

I'd also like to thank my sister Elayne and my husband Dave for pitching in and helping.  I couldn't have spent 17 long days in a roll, in that small booth if it weren't for their wonderful help.

The hit of the show were the Zoobies.  They're uniqueness and flexibility put smiles on the faces of adults and children alike.  I was actually surprised at the adults that bought a Zoobie to keep for themselves and not give to a child.  I thought I was the only one who saw how great they would be to keep in a car.

It felt great making everyone happy.  That's what I'm all about.  I figure you can go through life making everyone around you miserable or for the same amount of energy spent, you can make people laugh or be happy.  I vote for the smiles.

Again, it was wonderful meeting you all and thank you for the new business you brought to PAW's Embroidery after the fair ended.
