PICNIC BLANKETS

I've got these really great picnic blankets.  They're fleece on one side and 200 Denier nylon on the other which makes them water resistent.  They're great for picnics and sporting events. Just keep one or two in your car.  They're handy for your kids sporting events like soccer, baseball, rugby, football, etc.  You can toss them on the grass and because of the outer coating, they keep the weeds and stickers to a minimum.
EMS, Firefighter or Police Officer?
These are handy to keep in your car in case of an accident in wet weather. If you're off duty, they'll help keep your victim warm and dry until a rig can reach you.
Size is 50x60
Polurethane coating.
Folds for easy storage.
Carry handles for easy transporting.
Two velcro pockets.
COLORS:  Charcoal, Black, Red, Forest Green, Navy and Royal Blue
Price for Blanket:  $20
Designs:
Hummingbird - $ 30 - 4.32" x 3.64" 20 thread changes 30,000 stitches
Butterfly on Flower - $15 - 4.34# x 3.39" 7 thread changes 15,000 stitches
Sport logo - $10 - approximately 3 x 3 (varies depending on design) 8,000 to 10,000 stitches. You pick a sport.  Chances are I've got a logo.  If not, we'll create something for you.

LARGE AIR TOTE BAG - Adults & Kids

This is a large tote bag I created for Sean (my future grandson) .  It's very large 19.5 x 14.5 x 6.5.

600 Denier Polyester.
Zippered Front Pocket.
Interior Hanging Pocket.
High Cuffed Bottom with Fabric Wrapped pipping.
Clinched Herringbone Webbing for easy carrying.

It comes in Black, Royal Blue and Tangerine.

The bag itself is $15.00 then add the cost of embroidery which varies depending on which design you choose.
DESIGN:
This particular design is $35 because it's almost 6"x6" and 35,000 stitches with 19 thread changes.

USES:
GROCERIES
This particular tote will carry two huge gallons of milk and have plenty of room for tons of other items.  The biggest drawback to the Air Tote bag would be overloading it so you can't pick it up.
CHILD'S TRAVEL BAG
As a child's bag, put toys in it and leave it in the car.  That saves you from constantly packing and unpacking the car.  The added advantage is the toys in the bag are for 'special trips' only.
GENERAL SHOPPING BAG
I personally like to take this bag to the mall with me.  I get tired of carrying various size plastic store bags around with me.  This way, I put my ATM card, cash and driver's license in the inside pocket.  I leave my purse in the car and just continue to add the store purchases in the Air Tote.  I end up with only one bag to worry about.

SIMON'S TOWEL

Boy am I a putz.  I hit a button and my original blog post disappeared.  I started this post, got interrupted by Dave, checked my email, came back to the post and there was my original item.  Boy am I one confused puppy or what?  LOl!

Anyway, here's a photo of a towel I created for Simon.  He's the son of a friend of ours in Australia.  He's a musician so I really loved putting this together for him.

I am so lucky to have a job I love.  Granted it's in my later years but fun none the less.  Nothing like a baby boomer starting a second career.

New Embroidery Blogger

Never in my imagination did I think I'd be referring to myself as a blogger.  But....I've decided to come into the 21st century, so here I am.    My sister Elayne has been blogging forever.  She's got a real nice site at bransonranch.blogspot.com.   I can't compete with her because of how nice her site is, so I think I'll be content to just try and best myself as time goes by.

My husband (in the future known as Dave) has been trying to create a website for my small embroidery business.  Since, it's going to take him awhile because he's so busy, I figured I'd try the blog thing.

Ooooops...now wait a minute, I think I'll try and insert a picture of one of the towels I embroidered here.  If it works out, it'll be the towel I created for my mom who loves butterflies.  Here goes......cross your fingers.....ready....set....  Dang!  The picture loaded at the top of the page.  Just one more kink to work out.

Anyway, I started my embroidery business (PAW's Embroidery) in July of 2007.  It's slow going but I'm steadily plodding along at a snails pace.  Right now family and friends are being bombarded with embroidered gifts for every possible occasion.  My goal is pretty simple...to someday actually turn a profit and quit taking money out of savings for hardware, software, equipment and supplies.

What I'd like from this blog is to show designs I've sewn out and hopefully sell some tote bags, blankets and yoga mat bags to those reading my site.  I'm working on a "Baby Shower Gift Tote" right now.  The toughest part is narrowing down what I want in the bag.

Okay, okay...I tried to load a picture of the jeans jacket I did for Pat & Marge's baby but it ended up at the top of the page.  Oh well....  Anyway, Patrick is like a son to me, he's been my son (Scott's) best friend since junior high school.  Now they're 30.  Oh, they're gonna kill me for putting that in print.  LOL!
Scott works San Francisco Fire Department as a medic so I thought something with a firefighter on the back would be great.  I have to admit, I think it turned out terrific.  It definitely got lots of ooooooo's and ahhhhhhh's at the shower.
Jeeze, I'm having so much fun, I think I'll throw on another couple of designs.  I'll even put in the price of the design in case someone is interested.
Okay, now I'm going to sign out and see what the heck this looks like.  I'm thinking I'm suppose to put on the picture first so please forgive me while I experiment a bit.
Take care all,
Patti Ward
